  • Was president of CHC when the “limited liability law” was passed, 1990.

  • Co-authored “Hold Your Next Horse Show in Colorado”, a horse show facility guide 1992-revised in 1997

  • Assisted in the organization of the Colorado Horse Development Authority Board 1996

  • Co-chair of the first Colorado Economic Impact Equine Survey completed in 1998 with a supplemental summary, “Colorado Horse Power” published in 1999

  • Authored “Promoting and Preserving Our Colorado Horse Heritage” 1994, revised 1995

  • Co-authored “U.S. and Colorado’s Horse Industry” – a fact sheet on the economic impact of the horse industry 1993

  • Photos of CHC and Rocky Mtn. Horse Expo have appeared in numerous publications, including “Maverick Press”, “Western Horseman”, a national equine web site, as well as other state and national publications 1996 to present

  • Management Team of National 4-H Horse Classic (Western Division) 1984-99; co-superintendent of judging contest 1984-99

  • Member of State Extension Marketing Committee 1984-1988; co-authored promotion handbook for CO Cooperative Extension 1987

  • Horse show announcer-Keystone International Livestock Expo, Harrisburg, PA 4-5 horse shows including the state 4-H show 1969-73

  • Announcer for the draft horse-pulling contest at the PA State Farm Show 1973-74
