History comes to life March 8th for children at two Denver elementary schools when six massive black Percheron horses
pulling an elegant antique wagon high-step onto campus. Harnessed together as the famous Priefert "Texas Thunder" Hitch, the horses gallop, reverse, and turn on a dime in a thrilling demonstration of the true meaning of horsepower, then teamster Jason Goodman and his crew will follow up with an entertaining and educational talk about draft horses and their place in American history.tudents at Garden Place Elementary School will welcome the Hitch at 10 a.m., then the outfit will rumble down the road to Swansea Elementary School for a 1 p.m. demonstration.
