Wednesday, 16 May 2007
Not everyone can be the champ, but every participant rides away with prizes in the upcoming WRCA Vail Valley Championship Ranch Rodeo, June 2, in Eagle, Colorado. Courtesy of the Roaring Fork Valley Co-op in Carbondale, each ranch rodeo participant will receive a pair of roping gloves and a scarf, and every member of the champion team wins a prize package from the Co-op that includes a saddle blanket, rope halter and lead, stirrup and curb straps, hondo and set of bell boots.
The Vail Valley Championship Ranch Rodeo is fully sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association (wrca.org) and is a qualifying event for the 2007 WRCA World Championship. Tickets are $12 in advance (on line at RockyMountainHorseExpo.com), $15 at the gate. A special $25 all-inclusive Saturday package includes all-day admission to the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo and the evening Championship Ranch Rodeo.

The Championship Ranch Rodeo is just one of the many events brought to the Eagle River Center by the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo, June 1-3. For details, schedule and tickets, visit RockyMountainHorseExpo.com or call (303) 292-4981.

The Rocky Mountain Horse Expo appreciates the generosity of sponsors like the folks at the Roaring Fork Valley Co-op who make the Horse Expo events more rewarding for everyone.
