Lifetime but for the last 31 years we have owned, bred and trained Belgian Horses. We have promoted the Draft Horses through parades, shows and workshops. We have organized and managed Draft Horse Shows and Workshops in the west.

For at least ten years, we even partnered with the late Steve Bowers in Draft Horse Workshops

• Member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and Zion Lutheran Church
• Founding member of the Colorado Draft Horse Association
• Member of the Belgian Draft Horse Corporation of America
• Founding Member of the Belgian Draft Horse Youth and Education Fund, Inc
• Board Member of the Colorado Horse Council

• Managed the National Western Stock Show Draft Horse Show -1980 to present
• Organized and managed the 2007 World Clydesdale Show at Madison, Wisconsin
• Manager or steward for various Draft Horse Shows throughout the United States
• Published author of articles for Draft Horse Journal

My three decades of working with youth, both in formal education and in the Belgian Draft Horse Youth &Education Fund, as well as successfully managing the National Western Stock Show draft horse competition, has give me a broader understanding of all horse disciplines. Most importantly, I bring a broad understanding and connection to the draft horse industry.

I bring a representation for the states Draft horse industry, as well as, draft horse organizations throughout the United States.

Besides using our horses for shows and parades, we maintain our acreage with with live horsepower. Also, Jean and I enjoy traveling, antiquing, hiking and working on our ranch with horses together.

We like to DRIVE our Belgian Draft horses by farming and exhibiting. Yes we even ride them.

We have devoted a lot of time to driving horse in a variety of configurations including single to six for a variety of uses and enjoyment.
