Intro to Energy Therapy for Horses
The presentation will cover case studies of how energy therapy (Reiki) benefits horses with a wide variety of physical and emotional/behavioral issues. The horse energy field will be explained as well as how the horse constructs the healing session and responds to it. Also discussed will be steps owners can take to improve their connection and experience with their horse, including communication techniques. Reiki as a complementary therapy in conjunction other holistic methods and allopathic veterinary medicine will also be covered, as well as end-of-life issues.

Mary BlakeReiki River of Peace
Mary Blake began Reiki training in 2009, and started working with rescued farm animals. She completed her first Reiki Master certification in 2012 and began working with rescued horses. She received her Holy Fire II Reiki Master certification in 2016 from the International Center for Reiki Training. Mary completed Master Certification as an Animal Reiki Practitioner in 2018.
Her practice, Reiki Peace River, based in the north metro Denver area, is devoted to strengthening the bond between horse and owner through awareness, understanding and compassion. She is dedicated to bringing energy healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels to all equines, from rescues to performers. She volunteers at Zuma’s Rescue Ranch in Littleton and at Medicine Horse Program in Boulder, an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy facility.
