    MARGRIT LENT PARKER practices law with Childs McCune LLC in Denver, Colorado, where, among other things, she enjoys working with her equine industry and veterinary clients and representing professionals and their businesses in business planning, contracts litigation, defense of claims of malpractice and liability, appeals, and before licensing boards and other regulatory bodies. A native of California, Margrit majored in Equine Science and Zoology at CSU in Fort Collins. After college, she spent a year in Kentucky working on a broodmare farm and at an equine veterinary hospital before returning to Colorado for law school. Active in the legal and equine communities, Margrit co-authors an annual case law survey on equine torts and insurance law for the American Bar Association, is a member and past-chair of the American Bar Association Equine Law Subcommittee of the Animal Law Committee, and most recently served on the board of the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center in Longmont, Colorado. Margrit was honored as the Denver Bar Association’s 2014 Young Lawyer of the Year, and is regularly named to the Colorado Rising Stars and Super Lawyers lists for top-rated attorneys.
