Horses and Artists Blend Beautifully at the “Equine Art in the Park.”

Show Dates:  March 9 – 11, 2018

Sophisticated and talented artists who blend their passion for horses with their creative intuition highlight this one-of-find art exhibit.  The artists selected to the “Art in the Park” gallery may display paintings, equine-related photography, bronze sculptures, jewelry and various mixed-media all celebrating the horse from their own perspective and artistic interpretation.

We are excited to announce the selection of a Chairman for the 2018 Equine Art in the Park event! His name is Cody Kuehl, who was born and raised in Colorado and currently resides in Denver, CO. Cody has a passion for Western art, as you will see when you visit his webpage at www.artofcodykuehl.com. We are pleased that Cody was willing to take on such an important role in supporting the equine industry through talented artists creating equine-themed artwork of various media. Thank you, Cody!

2018 Call for Artists

As we do every year, we are making an official call for artists who would like a chance to show their creativity and skills at the 2018 Art in the Park show. Please click on the Prospectus button below for further details in a printable format. If interested, you may enter the event using the online form or by downloading a printable form and mailing it to us with your photos and payment.

Artist entries are due by DECEMBER 15, 2017.

Welcome to our website!

We have consolidated Colorado Horse Council (CHC), Colorado Horse Development Authority (CHDA) and the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo (RMHE) into one site making it much easier for you to find the information that you are looking for. Each department has it's own section and organized with it's own content. We hope this new platform makes your experience on our site much more enjoyable!
