‘Equine Art in the Park’Exhibit & Sale

Artist submissions being accepted for the 2019 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo until January 1, 2019. 

Cash prizes awarded to 3 artistic categories:

  1. 2-Dimensional:  1st, 2nd and 3rd Places
  2. 3-Dimensional:  1st, 2nd and 3rd Places
  3. Photography:  1st, 2nd and 3rd Places

Honorable Mentions will be designated in all 3 categories, as well. No cash prizes awarded for honorable mentions.

People’s Choice Award is designated by the general public. No cash prize awarded for People’s Choice Award.

All winning artists will have their art posted and information shared on social media pages run by the Colorado Horse Council.

Selected 2019 ‘Art in the Park’ pieces will be available for viewing after February 1, 2019 for people to purchase online before and after the 2019 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo.

Cost to submit up to 3 equine art pieces for ‘Equine Art in the Park Exhibit and Sale’ is $45.


About Equine Art in the Park

Sophisticated and talented local artists blend their passion for horses with their creative intuition to highlight this one-of-kind equine art exhibit. 

The artists selected to the “Art in the Park” gallery may display paintings, equine-related photography, bronze sculptures, jewelry and various mixed-media all celebrating the horse from their own perspective and artistic interpretation.

40% of all sales from ‘Art in the Park’ go towards the Colorado Horse Council and their advocacy work for the horse industry.

‘Art in the Park’ helps to raise funds for the Colorado Horse Council and their advocacy for the equine industry in Colorado and nationwide.

60% of artwork sale price goes directly to the artist and 40% of the sale price goes to the Colorado Horse Council. Please set the price of your artwork accordingly.

Admission to ‘Art in the Park Exhibit & Sale’ is included with general admission tickets to the 2019 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo.
