     Brashear Horsemanship

Mike Brashear developed a passion for horses at a very young age. He sought out every piece of education and experience possible to allow him to make working with horses his livelihood. In his quest for knowledge, he was afforded the honor of riding with some of the horse training greats. Mike’s drive and acquired knowledge have allowed him to professionally train horses for over twenty years.

Mike concentrates on Foundation to Finished horses, using natural and traditional methods to create a positive relationship between horse and rider. His focus is solid horsemanship, with a love for Ranch Horse Versatility. Not only does Mike understand how to get horses to the level they need to reach, but he makes sure riders accomplish those achievements with their horses. He helps others with a variety of topics ranging from basic, common-sense horsemanship to show techniques. Only second to horses, he loves to help people. Mike appreciates the “ah-ha” moments students find, which allows them to move forward toward creating a better relationship with their horses.

Mike is a local and national clinician sponsored by Nutrena Feeds, Arenus, Drinking Post Automatic Waterers, and is a Greeley Hat Works ambassador. He helped as an Equine and Location Consultant on the esteemed documentary, American Mustang. He is honored to be a returning clinician at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. He always enjoys meeting fellow horse enthusiasts, so stop by and say hello!
