Mindful Horseback Riding

Alecz Adams will teach riding methods from her book Mindful Horseback Riding. Exercises will be from beginner level through advanced, though beginners should not be discouraged as participation in higher level movements is not mandatory. Some obstacles may be utilized. All disciplines are welcome. Mindful Horseback Riding focuses on the connection between the equine and the rider, bringing presence and intentionality more deeply into the riding equation. Participants will also use their breathing and higher awareness of the positioning of their bodies to bring them into even deeper contact with their horses. Practices will be taught for all to use with horses at home. Limited supplies of the book Mindful Horseback Riding will also be available on site.
