Electra Equine Training LLC

My name is Katelyn Ellis, and I am the owner of Electra Equine Training LLC. Horses have been a passion of mine since I was young, and I have been fortunate enough to turn it into my career. I was mentored for years by a certified Dennis Reis trainer. I then went on to train under Ken McNabb where I earned my Master Trainer Certificate. In earning my certification, I worked on colt starting, fine tuning, problem solving, and several great training maneuvers to apply both in and out of the arena. I believe that horsemanship is an endless road of furthering your knowledge.

I take the time to train each horse individually so my approach for each horse is different. I offer colt starting, groundwork training, including halter breaking, tuning and problem solving. No two horses are the same, therefore I adapt my methods in order to set up each horse for success. I strive to make each horse soft and supple throughout their whole body, respectful on the ground and in the saddle, while at the same time creating a strong foundation. My ultimate goal is not only to make sure the horse is well-rounded but also to create confidence between the horse and its owner.
