Yoga on Horseback
Seasoned Yoga on Horseback instructor Alecz Adams combines Anusara inspired yoga movements with the unique balance and core strength needed in horseback riding to help equestrians improve their flexibility, comfort, and overall riding experience, and gain deeper connection with their horses. This class is offered for all disciplines, including English, Western, and bareback. Horses will primarily stand for the class, with some walking, and minimal trot/jog. Participants and the audience will learn how to safely execute these stretching and meditative techniques, both mounted on their horses, and with their horses on the ground. This class will include theory, optional movements on the ground, and up to intermediate mounted stretches for riders. Please note that these are stretches for riders not horses.
