ABOUT THE 2024 ROCKY MOUNTAIN HORSE EXPO
For 31 years, the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo has entertained and educated horse lovers of all breeds and disciplines. The 2024 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo takes place March 15-17, 2024.
Organized by the Colorado Horse Council, the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo is the council’s largest annual fundraiser.

MILE HIGH SELECT SALE
The Horse Sale will again be held at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. Horses of many different breeds and riding disciplines have been consigned to this auction. We will have more information on the horses consigned to this sale soon. Visit Mile High Select Sale page for more information.
Ride with the Experts
The Ride with the Experts program is designed for Expo attendees to bring their own horse and actually ‘ride’ with the clinician during their presentation. This opportunity gives you hands-on experience with your own horse to put the teachings of the clinician to the test.
Pre-Clinics at the Expo

TRADE SHOW & EXPO
More than 100 Vendors will fill the trade show floor with the most innovative and exciting equine products and services at the National Western Complex from March 15-17, 2024.
You can shop for your horse, look for show outfits, or even search for a new trailer.
EQUUS Film & Arts Fest
The Expo Art Show and Literary Corral will be part of a larger promotion of Art, Film, and Books at the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo under the Promotional Direction of the EQUUS Film and Art Fest. This collaboration will height the awareness of Equine Filmmakers, Artists, and Authors.
BREYER WEST IS BACK AT THE 2024 EXPO!
BreyerWest is coming back and they have a full weekend of activities available for any Breyer Horse Lover. Free model painting to model horse shows to even meet and greets. Learn more about the 2024 BreyerWest Schedule
SPECIAL EVENTS
2024 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo is packed full of Special Events. You will be able to adopt a horse from a Colorado Rescue with showcases of the rescue horses at 4 pm on Friday and Saturday in the Events Center arena. Family Fun Corral offers our little visitors a petting zoo, story time with Elvis The Pony, and Rody Races. Two of our clinicians are treating us to a Cowboy Race and two Mountain Trail challenges. On Saturday, The Mile High Select Sale will be a must-see for anyone looking for that special horse. Wayne Williams is back to host a horse Jeopardy-type knowledge game.
