2025 Annual CHC Meeting

The annual meeting is a chance to connect, learn, and take an active role in the Colorado equine community. This year’s event will be held as a virtual Zoom gathering, making it easy for everyone to join from wherever they are.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. It is open to all members and non-members who want to stay informed, meet others in the industry, or discover new ways to get involved. Registration is free, and everyone is encouraged to attend.

Brett Moore is the founder and principal of OnTheBallot Consulting, a respected lobbying and public policy firm that serves organizations across Colorado. He brings more than fifteen years of experience working within the Colorado legislative environment and is known for his strong relationships at the Capitol and his ability to help clients navigate complex policy landscapes. Brett began his career inside the Colorado General Assembly as a nonpartisan clerk, an early role that gave him firsthand insight into how state laws are shaped and advanced.

His work now spans a broad range of issues that matter to communities across the state including

agriculture, land use, water, conservation, rural affairs, healthcare and energy. Raised in a farming and ranching family in western Kansas, Brett carries a deep understanding of rural perspectives and the challenges faced by those who work the land. He holds degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Kansas.

We are excited to welcome Brett as a guest speaker at this year’s CHC Annual Meeting where he will share timely insights on legislative activity, advocacy and the evolving landscape that affects Colorado’s equine community.
